Award-winning travel writer Carole Terwilliger Meyers, a native San
Franciscan, holds a B.A. degree in anthropology from San Francisco State University and an elementary teaching credential from Fresno State College. She is the author of 15 books, including WEEKEND ADVENTURES IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA and MILES OF SMILES: 101 GREAT CAR GAMES & ACTIVITIES. Press. She is as well an active freelance writer and has written for FamilyFun, Sunset, and numerous other magazines as well as for the travel sections of many newspapers. She currently
writes a column on specialty travel for InfoHub.com. Carole has been a featured guest on both CNN News and the Today Show and has been quoted in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal
